At Aurinzo, we respect your privacy and give you control over your personal information. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data associated with Aurinzo and its integrations, including Meta and WhatsApp Business.
1. How to Request Data Deletion
If you want to delete your Aurinzo account and associated personal data, follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@aurinzo.com with the subject: Data Deletion Request.
- Include the email address registered with your Aurinzo account.
- Provide your salon/business name and registered mobile number.
- Mention whether you want to delete your entire Aurinzo account or only disconnect your Meta/WhatsApp integration.
Our team may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request.
You can also submit a deletion request through the support option available on our platform, if enabled.
2. What Data Will Be Deleted?
Upon receiving and verifying your request, Aurinzo will delete or anonymize applicable personal information, including:
- User account details and profile information.
- Personal contact information associated with your account.
- Connected Meta and WhatsApp Business account identifiers.
- Stored WhatsApp access tokens and integration credentials.
- Personal information stored in your Aurinzo account, where deletion is legally permitted.
3. What Data May Be Retained?
Certain information may need to be retained where required by applicable laws, regulatory obligations, security requirements, dispute resolution, or legitimate business recordkeeping.
For example:
- Financial and tax records that must be retained by law.
- Transaction records required for accounting purposes.
- Records necessary to resolve pending disputes or prevent fraud.
Such information will be retained only for the applicable purpose and period.
4. Meta and WhatsApp Integration
If you have connected your Facebook, Meta or WhatsApp Business account to Aurinzo:
- You can disconnect the integration through your Aurinzo account, where the option is available.
- You can also remove Aurinzo's access through your Meta Business Integrations settings.
- Disconnecting an integration stops future access through that connection but does not automatically delete all information already stored in Aurinzo.
- To request deletion of previously stored information, contact us using the instructions above.
5. Data Deletion Processing Time
Once your request has been received and your identity has been verified:
- We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days.
- We aim to complete eligible data deletion requests within 30 calendar days.
- If additional time is required due to legal or technical requirements, we will inform you accordingly.
Information retained for legal or regulatory purposes will be handled in accordance with applicable retention requirements.
